The Zuri Nzilani Foundation is spearheading a transformative movement in maternal and newborn health, with a steadfast commitment to reducing maternal mortality and improving the well-being of mothers and their babies.

We focus on addressing pregnancy-related complications particularly hypertensive disorders by ensuring women receive the medical care, support, and information they need throughout their pregnancy journey.

Zuri Nzilani Foundation bridges the gap between lived experience and the healthcare system, ensuring that the voices of women especially those affected by preeclampsia and poor maternal outcomes are heard, honored, and used to inform better care practices.

So far, we have trained over 300 healthcare providers, reached and supported more than 5,000 women, and convened two high-level conferences, including a Pan-African forum on hypertension in pregnancy bringing together key voices to shape the future of maternal health on the continent.

As proactive advocates for better healthcare, we are committed to ensuring that no woman dies from childbirth. We engage at both local and national levels to champion maternal and newborn health, strengthen health systems, and promote equitable, respectful care for all.

VISION

A world where every woman experiences pregnancy and childbirth with dignity, empathy, & equitable access to timely, quality care.
